Mr. Leib's practice encompasses a broad spectrum of case and client types, including business and other civil litigation matters, often on behalf of defrauded individuals and entities, as well as white collar criminal defense, civil and criminal appeals, and employee-plaintiff and personal injury cases on behalf of good people suffering injury and injustice through no fault of their own.
Mr. Leib offers creative, aggressive advocacy, and has consistently secured excellent results across multiple jurisdictions, including:
• securing pleading stage dismissal of federal class action litigation targeting high-revenue corporate client;
• generating multiple above-market outcomes for plaintiffs ranging from defrauded investors and entrepreneurs to current and former employees, including management-level employees, with workplace-related claims against employers/management;
• successful defenses of individuals and businesses in civil and regulatory matters ranging from partnership and contract disputes to multi-jurisdictional and multi-national vendor/services matters to allegations of fraudulent or negligent management;
• representation of executive-level employees of Fortune 500 and publicly traded employers in connection with contractual and other employment matters;
• multi-matter, portfolio-wide attorney services for CEOs, executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals.
Education: Mr. Leib earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Northwestern University School of Law, where he was Executive Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review; elected to the Order of the Coif; and awarded the Robert A. Sprecher Scholarship. Mr. Leib received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Amherst College, and earned a Master of Arts in Mass Communications, Documentary Filmmaking, with distinction, from the Documentary Institute at the University of Florida. He has produced and directed films that screened at venues including the Palm Beach International Film Festival.
